Unbox the Old School RuneScape Case Bundle: a custom-printed PC case with nostalgic artwork and a Wise Old Man Platelight insert. See exactly what you get and decide if this themed bundle is right for your build.
Quick answer
The Old School RuneScape Case Bundle is a custom-printed PC case featuring iconic OSRS artwork and a Wise Old Man Platelight insert. It's best for nostalgic players who want a ready-to-build themed chassis, but it's not for anyone seeking a plain case or who dislikes the art style.
What makes this case bundle different from a standard case
Unlike a plain black or white case, this bundle comes with a high-quality print that reproduces some of the most nostalgic artwork in gaming. The printing process is designed to be as durable as the game itself, so the design won't fade or peel quickly.
The bundle also includes a Wise Old Man Platelight insert created by community-favorite artist Volcaban. That insert adds a second layer of themed decoration inside your build.
Trade-off: themed design limits flexibility
Because the artwork is fixed, you're committing to the Old School RuneScape look for the life of the case. If you later want a different theme or a minimalist build, you'd need to replace the entire case or cover the print. This is a decision best made when you're sure the art matches your setup.
The bundle price of USD 194.99 (compared to a catalog price of USD 299.99) reflects the value of the custom printing and included Platelight. If you don't value the art or the insert, a standard case at a lower price may be a better fit.
Decision rules: should you buy the Old School RuneScape Case Bundle?
- You love OSRS nostalgia: If the artwork on the case makes you smile every time you sit down to game, the bundle delivers that feeling out of the box. The high-quality print is built to last.
- You want a themed build without extra work: The case and Platelight arrive ready to use. You don't need to source custom decals or paint – just build your PC inside it.
- You prefer a neutral or changeable look: Because the art is permanent, this bundle is not for you if you might want to resell the case later or switch to a different theme. A plain case gives you more flexibility. Consider a standard case if you value long-term versatility over a dedicated theme.
- You're on a tight budget: At USD 194.99, this bundle costs more than many basic cases. If you don't care about the art or the Platelight, you can save money with a non-themed option.
